Marriage is one of God’s greatest gifts and a sacred covenant meant to reflect Jesus' love and commitment to us. At Word of Life Church Japan, we are dedicated to helping engaged couples prepare for a Christ-centered marriage through our Premarital Preparation Ministry.

How It Works
Here’s what to expect when you join our Premarital Preparation Ministry:
Initial Consultation

Meet with the pastor or the assigned leader to preliminarily discuss your relational circumstances, engagement, or potential wedding plans.

Share your testimonies and explore how God is working in your relationship.
6 Counseling Sessions

Marriage Seminar

- Join our occasional marriage workshop (when offered) for additional insights and tools to navigate the challenges of married life.
Questionnaire
- Complete a detailed questionnaire designed to evaluate key aspects of your personality, perception and dynamic of your relationship, including communication, shared values, expectations and family upbringing
Completion
& Blessings

Upon completing the program, you’ll receive a certificate of completion.

A prayer of blessing will be administered in a private setting with the pastor.
Continued Support
Your marriage doesn’t end on your wedding day, and neither does our support! As a part of the member of WOL Church, you will be offered ongoing encouragement and resources such as marriage enrichment, small groups, and mentoring programs to help you continue growing together as couple and family in Christ.
